This year has been a premiere for those who want to study postgraduate programs in the UK. They can opt for a loan of £ 10,000 for two years, which can add a £ 9,300 Erasmus loan, for a program lasting a year or £ 13,900 for two years. ERASMUS loan repayment occurs over a period of 6-10 years, while the British state loan may be returned only when it reaches an annual income of more than £ 21,000, the rate not exceeding 6% of income. "The programs are active loans for most UK universities, students being able to finance their graduate studies in a combined worth up to £ 23,900. Moreover, some of these universities will be present in Romania, at the most important educational fair of the year - World Education Fair on the 18th and 19th of February in Bucharest and Craiova and Constanta, on the 21st and 23rd of February. Here, those interested will be able to talk directly with university representatives about study options and financing systems," said Ana Maria Papp, manager of the department for Universities abroad, IntegralEdu.
So far, the British Government loans for postgraduate studies were done in the £ 10,000 limit, a maximum of £ 5,000 in the first year if trials lasting two or more years. Those eligible for ERASMUS loans must be European citizens who wish to continue their postgraduate studies in the UK. They should not have studied for more than a semester in an UK university to be able to access this loan. Regarding reimbursement, it begins one year after completion of the study program, graduates have the possibility to take a break for a year to delay the payment of the loan without penalty.
Among the universities that are in the list of Erasmus Plus and will be attending the World Education Fair are: Lancaster University, Coventry University, London South Bank University, Birmingham City University, Falmouth University, University of Leicester, Canterbury Christ Church University, University of Bradford. Presentations dedicated to postgraduate loans will also take place at the event.
World Education Fair in February to reach its 26th edition, representatives of more than 100 educational institutions worldwide being present in Bucharest .
