Wall-Street: Good News for Young Romanians : The UK Will Continue to Gradt Study Loans for the 2017-2018 Academic Year

The measure complements statements by British officials after the BREXIT moment when they assured the young people who wanted to study in the UK, that at least for this year the situation will not change. The British government's decision highlights the fact that students who will apply to UK universities by 2018, will receive loans and grants throughout the study, even if Britain will formally leave the EU in the meantime.

"Although it was delayed, we expect this decision after signals from our partners in the UK. Moreover, during this period, I tried to inform the young Romanians and their families that the situation will have a positive resolution regarding trials in Britain, a fact also underlined by universities present at the recently held World Education fairs in Romania. Thus for the academic year 2017 - 2018 young people will continue to benefit from the government support worth £ 9,000 for undergraduate programs for the entire period of study. Currently, over 90% of Romanian students studying in the UK benefit from this funding scheme, "said Ana Maria Papp, Department Manager of Universities Abroad, IntegralEdu.

British officials who made the announcement showed that since June, when after the referendum, the government has ensured that there will be funds to cover the financing needs of European students who learn already, and those who will apply this year.

Under the current financing conditions, European students are eligible to receive loans for tuition fees for undergraduate studies, if they have been resident in the European Economic Area in the last 3 years prior to study entry. European citizens who have lived in the last 5 years in the United Kingdom are also eligible for additional support provided, but for master's programs loans. Similarly, under EU law, European students will qualify for the same tuition as British students. Non-European or international students do not have these tuition fees provided, as before, said Secretary of Education, Jo Johnson.

Integral group has international experience over 24 years in advising students, parents and anyone interested in choosing the best educational programs and educational institutions abroad, either secondary education, highschools, universities or language centers. Present in Romania since 2008, IntegralEdu represents over 500 top educational institutions in Europe and the US.
